Dear Solutions Driven Clients, Candidates, Contacts and Friends,
Well I don’t think any of us would have anticipated what 2020 was going to bring this time last year as we were preparing for Christmas 2019.
As much as it has been a challenging year for the world, I do feel we all finish this year with a clearer perspective on what’s important to us as individuals, where our focus should be from a business perspective and certainly from a “Hindsight is 2020” perspective – what we have each learned this year and take forward into future years.
We all certainly finish this year as experts in how to use video platforms!
From a Solutions Driven point of view, we have been very fortunate to work with some fantastic clients and candidates this year which has kept us busy. This year has seen us work across 17 sectors, filling roles in 38 countries and supporting global brands as well as start-up/scale up success stories.
In parallel we have done some great work on the new category we are leading globally – “Recruitment Process Intelligence”. For the first time in our history, we have clearly defined who we are, what we do and how we do it…and we’re excited how it’s coming together with more exciting news planned for next year, so watch this space.
We really focused this year on simply providing value to our customers – it’s not good enough to just fill roles, we need to be adding value.
Adding intelligence. Adding insights. We have provided forums for clients and candidates to learn from each other, podcasts on how the recruitment sector is changing, world class guest speakers on key topics…at the same time as filling 97% of our hires from the first shortlist provided.
No wonder we’re looking forward to a break at Christmas! ?
But rather than writing a long list of what key stats we have achieved this year (because that’s what most companies do at this time of year, right?), I think it’s important this year more than any other, to just say a simple but meaningful thank you.
Thank you to the clients and candidates who have worked with us this year – it’s great to be appreciated and your feedback has been overwhelming this year, but more importantly we really appreciate each and every one of you. You have many choices in the busy recruitment landscape and you chose Solutions Driven. We won’t forget that.
And finally the SD team. Every CEO says the cheesy line “my team is the best, you rock”.
But I’m not sure how they can say that….as they haven’t met the SD team! ? You guys don’t just rock, you rock and roll! What a phenomenal commitment, dedication, passion, and belief you have shown in what we are building.
Without a doubt we have the strongest team we’ve ever had and we are finishing the year with great momentum going into next year. Like our clients and candidates, each one of our team has choices and we love that you’re choosing the Solutions Driven journey.
