For over 30 years now Shirley has been working in the male dominated industry of manufacturing and mechanical engineering. And in recent months has been given the added responsibility of being appointed the Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion where she leads strategy development and implementation to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace, where everyone can be themselves and differences are recognised and respected.
